I grew up in the punk rock/hip hop era and even though I stood out from the others, with my great-grandmothers medium Louis Vuitton handbag, pressed slacks, pleated skirts and penny loafers, I believed that style could be found in any genre.

I have a firm belief in the idea that fashion is being self aware of your own individual style and feeling comfortable with it. When you are happy with your look, people will share your joy.
